Your first useful workflow.
Start with a task your team knows. A clear outcome is the best foundation for getting to know AIOS.
Choose a task
Choose a manageable task: prepare a customer meeting, summarize documents or draft a project plan. Define what information is needed and what a useful outcome looks like.
Choose a task whose quality you can judge yourself for the first run. Meeting preparation works well when you have a contact and a few current documents. Limit the result to an agenda, known facts and open questions. After the run, you can assess whether the preparation makes the meeting easier and which information is still missing.
Bring context together
Add the relevant contacts, files or pages to AIOS. Check who can access them. Connect only the external systems needed for this first task.
Assemble the context deliberately before starting. Identify the authoritative document when several versions exist, and add the meeting’s purpose and desired outcome. An agent should not silently treat an old project update as a current commitment. Missing information and conflicting sources belong in the result’s open questions.
AIOSDescribe the goal
Describe the task in the prompt bar with a goal, sources and desired format. For example: “Prepare a meeting agenda from these documents. List open questions and highlight missing information.” Review the tools used and any requested approvals.
Review the first draft using the criteria you would give a colleague: Are statements supported, priorities clear and next steps realistic? Then refine the brief where the misunderstanding arose. Once the workflow repeatedly produces useful results, you can prepare it as a custom function. Keep its inputs and intended behavior explicit.
Learn and repeat
Compare the result with your expectations. Add missing context, refine the task and save useful results where your team can find them. Then consider expanding the workflow.
Try it yourself
Adapt the placeholders to your task. This example is a template for your work with AIOS.
Prepare a customer meeting.
Purpose: [Reason for the meeting]
Goal: [Desired outcome]
Sources: [Contact and relevant files or pages]
Authoritative version: [Document/date or “not yet established”]
Create:
1. A short agenda in a useful order.
2. Supported background information with a reference to each source.
3. Open questions, missing information and conflicts.
4. A suggested next step.
Start with a draft. Do not send messages or change source records.Review the first draft
| Review question | What a useful result looks like |
|---|---|
| Does it fit the goal? | The agenda supports the meeting’s specific decision. |
| Is the evidence visible? | Facts can be traced to the supplied documents. |
| Are gaps identified? | Unknowns remain visible as questions and are not filled in. |
| Is the handoff clear? | The next step and unresolved responsibilities are clear. |
